Barbara Ann Krieg, 78, (nee Winterton) passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at University Hospital-Main Campus following a long illness.
     Mrs. Krieg was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 11, 1939, the daughter of the late John L. and Elizabeth J (nee Steigerwald) Winterton. She was a 1957 graduate of Lorain High School.
     She had been employed at the Lake Terminal Railroad as a secretary retiring in 2004.
     Mrs Krieg loved quilting, traveling and gardening but most of all enjoyed her family and friends.
     She is survived by her brother John G. Winterton of Downington, PA, sisters-in-law Sally Winterton and Shirley Krieg  and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William F. Krieg in 2004.
     Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals on Friday evening December 15, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the funeral home with Rev. Rosalina Rivera, Senior pastor at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.
     Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
