Eileen V. Danielson, 94, (nee Cross) of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the home of her daughter following a long illness.
Mrs. Danielson was born in Dalton on December 29, 1923, the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (nee Hermann) Cross. She was a graduate of Massillion High School.
She was a active member of Bethel Chapel in Lorain, Women's Ministries and many other areas of the church.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Danielson was a waitress at New Venice Gardens, she also worked at Timken Roller Bearing in Canton and sold Avon. She loved to help people. She was always doing for other people. She was an avid Cleveland Sports fan.
Mrs. Danielson is survived by daughters Dolores S, (John) Ward of Sheffield Village, Penny (Charles) Harrell of Lorain, sons William (Jolyn Jones) Tippie, Vernon F. "Buddy" Danielson all of Lorain, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Danielson in 1977, son David Danielson in 1976, a grandson Ryan Harrell and sisters Irene McKillip and Virginia Campbell.
Friends may call on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 3 pm until 8 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, 44052.
Friends may also call on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 11:00 am until services at Noon in the Bethel Chapel, 4065 Broadway Ave., Lorain with Rev. Lorrie Bandagski, pastor of the Bethel Chapel officiating.
Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, OH.
