Message from Nick Rogers

Gerry knew me 55 years ago when I was 3 years old. My mother would study the Bible with her and her daughter Leatrice and she would take me with her. I continued to keep in contact with her till just a few days before her death. She was like a second mother to me and will be missed greatly. Can't wait to see her in the New System.

Geraldine Sapphire , that is the name i will always remember you by. My husband had that special name for you and told me so much about you, you gave him his first dog Cleo and he loved her so much. You have been so dear to him, i can't wait to see you again in paradise and meet you. What a faithful sister you have been to Jehovah and a wonderful example.

I am so sorry to hear of Geraldine passing and want to offer my condolences to the family and friends. It is a painful thing to loose a love one in death; even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died. It was never Jehovah's purpose for his human family to die but to live. It is still his purpose. Geraldine believed Jehovah's promise that all those in the memorial tombs will be awaken from sleep in death__ Isaiah 16:19"Your dead will rise ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life" then "he will swallow up death forever"(Isaiah 25:8). I hope these words give all of you comfort.
