Jerome B. Harvey, 84, of Lorain passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Kingston of Vermilion
     Mr. Harvey was born in Lorain on October 5, 1932.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria.
     He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Policing Action. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal "E."
     Mr. Harvey was an assembly line worker at the Ford engine plant in Brookpark with more than 30 years service. He enjoyed studying the Bible, Theology and World War II. He loved to discuss current events and enjoyed intellectual discussions. He was an accomplished ballroom dancer and competed at a local level.
     He is survived by his son Gary Harvey.
     Friends may call on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.
     Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain with full military honors.
