Paula J. Karish (nee Wilker), 62, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2017. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter, sister and adoring aunt. Paula treasured her family and being together was the center of her life. She was the daughter of Sally Ferraro-Wilker (94) of Charlotte, NC and Dale Albert Wilker (deceased) and loving wife of Robert (Bob) Karish (deceased).
     Paula is also survived by her twin sister, Carla Kowalski  (Ken) of Lakewood, OH, sister Lisa Wilker of Charlotte, NC, brother Dale A. Wilker (Debbie Mills) of White Plains, NY, nieces Rachel Kowalski of Brooklyn, NY and Lisa Kowalski of Lakewood, OH. She was a loving member of the Robert Karish family.
     Paula was born in Bucyrus, OH on September 18, 1955. She was a graduate of Lorain High School and lived in Lorain most of her life, with a brief stint in Branson, Missouri.  Paula was employed at Lorain Products and the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant. She married Robert Karish on July 7, 1991 during a sunset cruise on the Goodtime II.
     Paula was a sweet, loving soul whose generosity knew no bounds.   She would selflessly help anyone in need and inevitably became a friend.  Paula loved playing cards and games. She was a volunteer with the Branson Main Street Ambassadors and with the Civil Air Patrol (auxiliary) at the Cleveland Air Show.
     Paula was especially proud of her Sicilian heritage, loved her many, many cousins and never missed a Ferraro Family Reunion.  When saying good bye, she usually ended the conversation with “Ciao, bella”.
     There will be a graveside service followed by a ceremony to celebrate Paula’s life on Saturday, November 25, 2017. (Details to be announced later).
