Rev. Joseph A. (Joe) Richi, 48 of Lorain, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Campus following a long illness.
Rev. Richi was born in Amherst on November 16, 1968, the son of the late Dominic Richi and Patricia K (Carver) Rodriguez, of South Amherst.
He was a member and former Pastor of the Sonshine Baptist Church in Lorain. Most recently Rev. Richi shared his love of God with his friends and relatives by home pastoring.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Betty J, (Chad) McKinney, of South Amherst, brothers, William J, (Mary Kay) Park,
Dominic (Tonya) Richi all of Lorain and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, followed by funeral services at 7:00 PM with Rev. Matt Jones, officiating.
Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
