Robert Willard (Bob) Linkous, 67, of Lorain passed away on October 4, 2017 at his residence.      Bob was born August 25, 1950 to the late Archie and Ethel (nee Terry) Linkous. He was a member of American Legion Post 30 (Lorain), Amvets Post 22 (Vermilion), and VFW 7576 (Vermilion.) He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1970 achieving the rank of Sergeant and retired from Centurytel after 44 years of service.
      He is survived by his wife, Andrea (nee Laidlaw) Linkous; son, Jason Robert (Lori) Linkous of Avon; daughter, Megan (Eric) Manicsic of Amherst; sister, Petey (Randy) Heimann of Lorain; granddaughters, Sophie Linkous and Taryn Bolen and grandson, Gunnar Manicsic of Amherst.
      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Tracey Linkous.
Veterans services will be held at Amherst Veterans Memorial of Lorain County on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 4pm, 625 N Lake St Amherst. Followed by a reception dinner from 4:30-6:30 at the Amherst American Legion, 921 N Lake St. Amherst.
