Timothy M. Luman, 66, of Amherst Township left his gravity bound earth to walk the Streets of Gold on Sunday, April 8, 2018 following a long illness.
Tim was born in Lorain on May 23, 1951, the son of the late Chester C. "Ike" and Mary E. (nee Wortman) Luman, Sr. He was a graduate of the Murray Ridge School and worked at the workshop as an assembler for more than 40 years.
A gregarious Tim, he loved to socialize, singing, attend church, take walks and playing with his toys. He attended Tower Baptist Church.
He is survived by five sisters, Barbara S. (Jeffrey) Kimberly of Norwalk, Tammy J. Hainline of Deer Park, TX, Debra J. Schon of Biloxi, MS, Lynette J. Witter of Elyria, four brothers, Chester "Bud" (Evelyn) Luman of Lorain, Gregory K. (Karen) Luman of Lorain, Nicholas L. (Sharon) Luman of Parrish, FL, Phillip P. (Carol) Luman of Sanford, NC, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Carol A Poyle and brother David E. Luman.
Friends may call Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM to services at 12:00 PM in Tower Baptist Church, 1313 Tower Blvd., Lorain. The Rev. Gary Dorsey, pastor of Tower Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
