Barbara A. (Johnson) Robinson

     Barbara A. Robinson, 80, (nee Johnson) of Rainelle, WV passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
     Mrs. Robinson was born in Anawalt, WV on January 6, 1938, the daughter of Robert William and Virginia Ellen (nee White) Johnson.
     She was a member of Sewell Valley Baptist Church in Rainelle, WV and a member of it's choir. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker.
     She enjoyed crossword puzzles and listening to the old country music.   
     Barbara is  survived by sons Alan A. (Cathy)  Robinson of Eminence, KY, Richard L. (Cheryl)  Robinson of Lorain, grandchildren, Richard Robinson, Michael Robinson, Maredeth (James) Washburn, Alan (Emily) Robinson, Jeffery Robinson, Adrian (Georgina) Robinson, Crystal (Kevin) Herns, John Allen (Melissa) Smith, Donald Smith, Glenda (Jimmy Gonzales) Burge, Heather (James) Nau, brothers Roger (Barbara) Johnson of Lorain, Bobby Johnson of Anawalt, WV, Bennie Johnson, Hickory , NC and Richard (Maxine) Johnson Anawalt, WV. 
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Adrian D Robinson, sons Eugene Robinson, Charles Robinson, a brother Ronald Johnson.  
     Friends may call at the Smathers Funeral Chapel, 1109 Main Street, Rainelle, WV on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6-8 pm.
     Funeral services will be on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Fred Fryar, officiating. 
     Burial will be in the Sewell Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Rainelle. 
     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035, in her memory.
