Brett W. Renaldo, of Canton, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 42, due to complications following a car accident.

Brett was born to parents Frederick and Carol Renaldo on September 17, 1974 in Lorain, OH. Brett grew up as the youngest of seven and attended Vermilion High School. 

Brett loved his work, his friends, animals and his family.  Brett had a passion for Bette Midler and loved to advertise it.   He had a flare for decorating and giving advice to others.  He loved decorating for all holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween.  Brett was extremely honest with his friends and often told his friends how to dress and style their hair.  We will all miss hearing “are you really going to go out in public looking like that.”   He enjoyed running and hiking, hanging out with his friends, and taking in stray animals.  He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Renaldo; sister and brother-in-law Dawn and Michael Minter and their children Jalen and Chloe; sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Michael Hauck and their children Donovan, Kacy and Ava; brother and brother-in-law Randy and Lucas Taylor; brother and fiancé Terry (Lee) Taylor and Laura Cohen; brother Jim Renaldo and longtime girlfriend Gwen and his son Alec; and brother and sister-in-law Chris and Stacey Renaldo and their children Krista, Taylor and Austin.   He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; his close friends, Shannon Switzer, Ashley Ison, Chris Tammearu, Stacie Navratil, Roe Kaaikaula; and many, many other dear friends.  He is predeceased by his father, Frederick Renaldo; and his paternal grandparents, Mildred and Frank Renaldo; and maternal grandparents, Pearl and Edwin Dash.

A celebration of life will be held at Lakeview Park, Lorain, Ohio on May 13, 2017 @ 11:30am, service will start at 12:00pm.  In memory of Brett, please bring your stories and an ornament that reflects your relationship with Brett.  In lieu of flowers, give a friend a hug; be kind to others and pets; pay it forward.
