Catherine Fauver Obituary
Memorial services for Catherine R. Fauver, 93, of Oberlin will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Following the services at the funeral home, the family and friends will meet at Lakeview Park, Shelter 1 for a rembrance picnic. .
Cemetery services will be at 3:00 pm Monday in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
Ms. Fauver passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Kendal Of Oberlin. Ms. Fauver was born in Lorain on September 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Richard Reid and Elnora Grace (nee Horn) Fauver.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School and received a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College.
Ms. Fauver was a retired editor for the Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publishing Company in San Diego, CA. and had been employed with Look Magazine in New York City and the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
She is survived by her nieces Susan (Paul, deceased) Jensen of Cleveland Heights, Patricia (Dominic) Fetta of Grove City, nephews Hugh (Brenda) Hindman of Boone, NC and Richard (Karla) Hindman of Westerville. She is alos survived by Jeanne McFarland of California and Richard McFarland of Indonesia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Jean Fauver Hindman and her brother Richard Reid Fauver, Jr.
