Evelyn Sherman, 97, of Issaquah, WA formerly of Lorain passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Issaquah Skilled Nursing Center in Issaquah, Washington following a long illness.
     Mrs. Sherman was born in Lorain on February 18, 1920,  the daughter of the late Samuel and Esther (nee Herschman) Slutzer. She graduated from Lorain High School.
     She was employed as a secretary for the Lincoln School and her family business, Lorain County Produce Co. as a bookkeeper.
     Mrs. Sherman is survived by sons Charles (Shirley) Sherman of Maple Valley, WA, and David (Patricia) Sherman of Maple Valley, WA.
     Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Salem Cemetery in Lorain with Mr. Mark Jaffee,  officiating.
