Mary E. (Delong) Lyons

     Mary E. Lyons, 55, (nee DeLong) also known as "Little Mary" of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at U.H.- Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness.
     Mrs. Lyons was born in Lorain on May 18, 1964, the daughter of Merle R. DeLong, of Lorain and the late Thelma Marie (nee Feetham) DeLong.
     Mrs. Lyons is survived by her daughter Marissa Lyons(Theodore Burge Jr) of Lorain, grandchildren; Theodore Burge lll (T. J.), Ashton & Callen Burge. She is also survived by a sister, Linda (Ron) Schiavetta of Fort Myers, FL, and brother Keith B Delong of Lorain, Mary had many friends that she considered  her family Joan New, Andrea Wright, Jane Green, and Rob Burke and her children Nannette Shirley & Alisha Stratton all of Lorain. She also had a very special place in her heart for Alisha's son, Javion Stratton she considered him her grandchild.
     She was a life long resident of Lorain. She bar tended on and off for several years at local bars, and played on multiple bowling, pool and dart leagues. Mary loved her Daughter and Grandchildren dearly and cherished spending time with them,as well as her Family and Friends. Loved OHIO STATE football, animals, NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt. 
    She enjoyed playing games on her tablet, playing and watching sports, crossword puzzles, listening to music, and cooking.
    In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brother Ricky DeLong, and Best Friend Carla Mastorovich.
    A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH 44052.
