Nancy C (Wilson) Bailey

    Nancy C. Bailey, 79, (nee Wilson) passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Mercy-New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a short illness.
     Mrs. Bailey was born in Martins Ferry on April 23, 1939, the daughter of the late Donald and Gertrude (nee Jones) Wilson.
     She was a member of the 1957 graduating class of Martin's Ferry High School and a longtime member of St. Mary Church in Lorain. 
     Mrs. Bailey retired as the manager  for the Lorain City Schools Cafeteria. She also as a "Avon" Lady, and had worked at  Bill & Don's Catering and the Hallmark Store. 
     She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed the natural beauty of hummingbirds and lighthouses. 
     Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughter, Debbie M. Bailey of Lorain, grandchildren,  Sarah Schaffer, Josh Krafcik, Jessica Parks, Dennis Schuster Jr., great granchildren: Ethan Krafcik, Wes Krafcik, Reagan Schaffer, Aiden Schaffer, Camden Schaffer, and a brother Jack (Carolyn)  Wilson of Martin's Ferry. 
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Bailey, Sr., a son Robert M. Bailey Jr. in 1977 and brothers Donald Wilson and William Wilson.
     In accordance with her directive, services were private and she was laid to rest next to her husband with Rev. Daniel O. Divis officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church, 703 Seventh Ave., Lorain, OH 44052.
