Nathan Margolis, 92, of Boyton Beach, FL formerly of Lorain passed away peacefully on Monday Jan 7, 2019 at his home following a long illness.
Mr. Margolis, the son of the late Julius and Ida (nee Margolin) Margolis was born in Lorain on June 20, 1926.
He was a member of Agudath B'Nai Israel Synagogue and a World War II US Navy Veteran.
He was the owner of the Reliable Furniture Store in Lorain.
Mr. Margolis enjoyed singing, music, telling jokes and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Barbara (nee Newman) Margolis, daughters Pam Margolis of Bexley, Ohio, Jennifer (Lior) Rusinek of Roslyn, NY, Rebecca (Mark) Weintraub of Shaker Heights, grandchildren Tiferet (Brian) Mayer, Alexandra, Michelle and Jacob Rusinek, Joshua, Matthew and Samuel Weintraub and great grandson Mason Mayer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Joel Margolis, his sister Helen Weiss, brothers Joseph, Harold, Benjamin and Hyman.
Funeral Services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:30 AM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH 44052, conducted by his cousin Dr. Arnie Milner.
Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery with full military honors.
