Warren Klein, 85, of Boynton Beach, formerly of Lorain passed away peacefully at home, Saturday July 7, 2018.
He was born in Lorain, Ohio in 1932, attended Ohio State University and joined his father and Brother, Allen in the family's men's clothing business, Klein’s Store for Mem. During his 50 years in the business, he and his brother opened stored in Elyria, New Philadelphia and Euclid, Ohio under the name Allan Warren and built Midway Square Shopping Center.
Warren was very talented and proud of the major remodeling projects he undertook on the homes he shared with his family in Lorain and Vermilion, Ohio. He moved to Boynton Beach in 1998 with his wife, Gerda. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Warren enjoyed bridge and traveling and was a member of the Temple Shaarei Shalom in Boynton Beach.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents: Sylvia and Julius Klein, his brother Allan Klein and sons Jonathan and David Klein. He is survived by his wife Gerda (Friedman) Klein, daughter Randi Klein, sons Peter Klein and Robert Pomeroy, and grandchildren Dexter, Isabel, Jonah, and twins Gabie and Josiah.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Salem Cemetery, 1459 North Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035. Shiva will be observed at the Klein home, 8788 Shoal Creek Lane, Boynton Beach on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 1115 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33437.on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:15 a.m.
