                                                               June 13, 1961 – Aprl 26, 2022

     Antoinette E. "Toni" Bowles, 60, (nee DiFilippo) of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center following a long illness.
     Toni was a lifelong resident of Lorain and a 1979 (Centennial) graduate of Lorain High School.  
She worked in various capacities but found her calling in the care of others and received her State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certificate in 2011.
     Toni enjoyed sports and played on the high school basketball team.  She later participated in softball and bowling leagues.  Her interests also included dancing and karaoke.  The highlight of her day was the love she shared with her dogs and fishing with her husband by her side.
     Toni is survived by her husband, Edwin R. Bowles Sr., of Lorain along with her step children; Edwin (Jen) Bowles Jr., and Brad Bowles of Elyria; Stacey (Brian) Whitmeyer of Columbus; Cory Bowles and Courtney (Jerry – fiancé) Bowles of Sullivan.  Step grandchildren; Corbin Winningham, Josslyn Whitmeyer, Gavin Whitmeyer, Shane Goetz, Abbie Bowles and Nolan Bowles.  Mother-in-law; Mary Rosalie Bowles of Grafton.
Brothers;  Jim (Jean) DiFilippo of Athens, Art (Karen) DiFilippo of Summerville, SC, Ken (Tamala) DiFilippo of North Ridgeville; sisters Karen (Steve) Koleszar of Goodyear AZ, Carol DiFilippo (Steve) Connolly of Westlake, Mary DiFilippo and DeeDee (Terry) Shullick all of Lorain; ten nieces &nephews and eight great nieces & nephews.
      She was preceded in death by her father Victer C DiFilippo in 1987 and mother Magdalene H. (nee Posey) DiFilippo in 2018.
     Friends may call on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 1:00 pm until services at 4:00 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 11124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio.

     Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 550 North Ridge Road W., Lorain on Saturday, May 14, 2020 at noon.
