Beth Ann Parker-Turner 65 of Lorain passed away unexpectedly March 3, 2025. Born October 4, 1959 in Zanesville, OH to the proud parents William and Wilma (Wallace) Parker.
Beth grew up in a loving family alongside her two older brothers Wayne and Allen. She was involved in Lorain County 4-H showing horses most of her youth. Beth graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 1978. Following high school Beth’s caring nature led her to a fulfilling career that began in 1989 when she became a bus driver with her best friend Sandee (Searles) Kodysh for North Ridgeville Local Schools. Then continued to make her mark at Clearview Local Schools and then with Lake Ridge Academy for 16 years. She also worked at the Ohio State Extension office as the program director for the Lorain county 4-H Carteens program. She also worked at Tractor Supply Company in Amherst as a key holder. Her friendly nature and conversations made every transaction feel personal. With each interaction she wove a tapestry of friendships and memories that lasted well beyond her retirement. Beth was a Lorain County 4-H advisor with the Night Rangers for 25 years. Her leadership within the club was marked by compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Her influence extended far beyond the livestock shows and the workshops—they encouraged the next generation to thrive and embrace their potential. You couldn’t go anywhere with her without her knowing someone. Those privileged enough to know Beth would describe her as the epitome of loving, friendly and selfless. She brought warmth and light to every room and made a lasting impression on each person she met.
Beth’s departure leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her two daughter’s Stacey (Andre) of Lorain, Kelly (Billy) of Elyria and her brother Wayne (Linda) of Elyria. Also her 5
grandchildern who meant the world to her Xavier, Myleigh, Brielle, Kensley and Kyleigh. Beth’s grandkids meant the world to her there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Beth also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Allen of Quincy, FL and her ex-husband Don.
