Obituary
Brandon Christopher Serrano, 31, of Lorain passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 in Sylvester, Georgia after being struck by an intoxicated driver.
Mr. Serrano was born in Elyria, on August 23, 1991, a son of Kimberly A Bobel of Lorain and Eliezer Serrano also of Lorain.
He was a graduate of Lorain High School and most recently was employed by New Castle Construction Company in Lorain.
Brandon is survived by a daughter Juliana Serrano, a son Brandon Serrano both of Lorain, his mother and step father Michael Smosny, his father, a sister Lyndsey A. (Dustin) Otero of Sheffield Lake, brothers Jordan (Alondra Reyes) Serrano, Aaron M. Smosny both of Lorain and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William & Shirley Bobel and his
paternal grandparents, Eugenio & Carmen Serrano.
Friends may call on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2:00 pm till services at 6:00 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Mr. Reuben Figueroa will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
