Carol V. (White) Winkler

Carol V. Winkler (née White), 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Concord Reserve in Westlake, Ohio.

Born on April 9, 1941, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur L. White and Edith L. (Lawson) White. She carried the values of love, devotion, and family throughout her life.

Carol dedicated many years as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She cherished every family gathering, celebration, and moment shared with those she loved. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always.

She enjoyed bowling, playing yahtzee, bingo and playing cards with friends and family.

Carol is survived by her loving children: daughters Cheryl D.(Jim) Paradis of Sheffield Lake and Anita A.(Fred) Rodriguez of Sheffield Lake; and son Paul C.(Chris) Winkler, Jr. of Lorain. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren: Brandi Winkler, Paul Winkler III, Amanda Gullett, Brian Paradis, Samantha Reed, Cara Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez, Jackie Seekins, and Josh Hescox; as well as eighteen beloved great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul C. Winkler Sr.; and her brothers, David L. White and Ralph L. White.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert G. Cool officiating.

Carol's love for her family was the foundation of her life and her greatest legacy. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
