Cassie (Phillips) Stevens
December 29, 1956 – September 30, 2025
Cassie Phillips, of Lorain, Ohio, formerly of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by love and family. Born on December 29, 1956, in Oneida, TN, she was the beloved daughter of the late Elsie (Walker) and Hubert Phillips.
Cassie spent many dedicated years working on the assembly line at Ford Motor Company. She was a woman of quiet strength and deep compassion, known for her warm heart, creative spirit, and unwavering love for her family.
Cassie found joy in life’s simple pleasures — playing bingo, crafting beautiful pieces with her hands, solving word puzzles, getting lost in a good book, and coloring. Nothing made her happier than the time she spent with her grandkids, who were the light of her life.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters Elisha, wife of David Choiniere, of Lorain, Ohio,Danielle Stevens significant other of Ezekiel Canterbury of Lorain, Ohio and sons Adam Stevens and Jacob, husband of Katelynn Stevens, of Ravenswood, West Virginia.
Cassie also leaves behind two devoted sisters, Debbie Silvy and Janet Wilber, as well as 14 cherished grandchildren who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Phillips, and her sister, Judy Corder.
A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Cassie's life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals in Lorain, OH. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather, share stories, and remember a life so beautifully lived.
