In Loving Memory of Charles Michael Hamilton 
March 15, 1981 – September 25, 2025

Charles Michael Hamilton aka Big Mike age 44, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on March 15, 1981, in Lorain, he was the beloved son of Sheila Ann (Salva) Hampton and the late Charles Warren Hamilton.

Big Mike was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and quick wit. A dedicated cook at Manny’s Food Service, he brought warmth and flavor to everything he made—whether in the kitchen or in his everyday life. His passions were as vibrant as his personality. A true sci-fi junkie, Mike was a devoted fan of Star Trek, Dragon Ball Z, anime, and all things tech. He loved video games and computers, and he could talk for hours about his favorite shows, music, or the latest gadget he was exploring.

Mike found joy in spending time with friends, attending Rockin’ on the River, and immersing himself in the energy of live rock music. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a hand—always there to help family, support friends, or simply share a laugh when it was needed most.

Mike is survived by his mother Sheila Hampton and by his cherished children: daughter Jasmine Reyes of Fort Worth, Texas, and son Ryan Gogle of Sellersburg, Indiana. He is also survived by his loving sister, Candice Hamilton of Lorain, Ohio; and his brother Steven (Amy) Hamilton of Lorain, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Warren Hamilton, as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Big Mike's honor on Tuesday,September 30, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church (Hall), 41812 Griswold Rd., Elyria, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, laughter, and love as we remember the unique and irreplaceable life Mike lived.
