Christine M Connor

Christine Marie Connor 61, formerly of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, with cancer at her daughter's home in Lorain while in the care of Crossroads Hospice.

Christine was born in Lorain on March 11, 1963, the daughter of Jean Marie (nee Zurinsky) Connor of Lorain and the late William M. Connor, Jr. She cared about animals and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her cat Merlin.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Lorain, and worked as a cook for various restaurants. 

Christine leaves behind her mother Jean Marie (nee Zurinsky) Connor of Lorain, daughter Jamie Marie Connor of Lorain, son Michael Ryan Connor of Avon Lake, and sister Shelene Connor-Gallagher of Garfield Heights.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jasmine, Mason, Kylie, and Paisley.

She was preceded in death by two brothers William (Billy) and Brad Connor, and her maternal grandparents Blanche and Alfred Zurinsky.

The family is having a private viewing at Boyer and Cool Home for Funerals and mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Lorain with Father Edward Smith officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery following the mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua or Friendship APL.
