David Samuel Jones

"David Samuel Jones, 50, of Wellington passed away at the University Hospital Elyria Medical Center in Elyria following a sudden onset of illness.

 Mr. Jones was born in Elyria on July 2, 1973, the son of the late Ralph Samuel Jones, Jr and Diane Louise (nee Souders) Jones.

 He was employed by his brother’s business Big Al's Home Improvement. He was an accomplished plumber, mechanic, and diesel mechanic. He was known as the “handyman” to his friends and family.

 Mr. Jones was an avid fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles and loved his dogs Sugar and Renny.

 David is survived by his wife of 21 years Kimberly A. Jones, daughters, Kristy L Jones, of Wellington, Katie J Jones (Nathan Rider) of Tecumseh, MI, Dianna M Jones, of Pandora, a brother Allen D. (Amy) Jones of Lorain and a grandson Lucas Samuel Michael Jones. David is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Jones.

 A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.

 The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035.
