Dineen Reagan Stack
Dineen Stack, age 91, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025 at her residence Avon Oaks Caring Community.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Dineen’s greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her son Francis (Colleen) Stack, daughter Maureen “Mo” (Larry) Dunphy, and son-in-law Frank Tobias; Grandchildren Paul Dunphy (Caressa), Pete Dunphy (Kristin), Jean Tobias, Elizabeth Dineen Tobias, Regina Stack, Taylor Nickeson (Elliott), Erin Monaghan (Conor) and Emily Smith (Joseph); as well as Great Grandchildren: Luke Dunphy, Henry Dunphy, Adah Smith, Patrick Smith, Ruth Smith, Nolan Nickeson and Elliott Jane Nickeson. and her Brother Terry (Elaine) Reagan.
She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to count.
Dineen was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Paul T. Stack; daughter Paula Tobias; parents Brendon and Marcella Reagan; sister Jean Marie Reagan; brother Brendon Reagan, and daughter-in-law Sara Stack.
In her youth, Dineen attended the following schools:
Elementary: St. Anthony of Padua – Lorain
High School: Lorain St. Mary’s Academy, Class of 1951
College: Siena Heights College, Adrian, MI Class of 1953
She was employed as a Secretary at Lorain Electronics for a number of years, but her greatest achievements lay in her many many years of tireless volunteering at her parish.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Boyer Cool Funeral Home 1124 W. 5thStreet, Lorain. An hour of visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Lorain. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow this, at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with Reverend Edward J. Smith presiding. Private Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Dineen’s family would like to extend many thanks to the staff at Avon Oaks Assisted Living, for their top notch care for her during her 3 year residence there. Also thanks to Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate end-of-life care.
