Dora B. (Smith) Fowler

Dora B. Fowler, 86, (nee Smith) passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at her home following a long illness.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Fireco, WV on December 3, 1933, the daughter of the late William Arthur and Effie Arizona (nee Wills) Smith. 

She was a Christian woman, devoted homemaker and loving mother.

Dora is  survived by her daughters Kathryn P. (Marcel) Dumeny of Fl, Dorothy A Smith, of Lorain, Shirley D, (Chuck) Sopko, of Amherst, Laura L. (Garry)  Moore, of Lorain, sons Dale (Roberta) Smith of LaGrange, and  Arthur R. (Ilene) Smith of Lorain, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren,  

She was preceded in death by a son Michael R. Smith in 2010, grandchildren Shelley M. Smith in 2007, David C. Sopko in 2018, sisters Billie Jean Hylton and Jacqueline Dedman.

Friends may call on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 11:00 am until services at 1:00 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, concluding with a funeral service at the funeral home with Rev. Harold Hylton, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
