Dorothy A. (Tiech) Bennett

Dorothy A. Bennett, 80, (nee Tiech) of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at her home following a brief illness.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Ellsworth, PA on February 26, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Anna Mae (nee Hipala). She has been a Lorain area resident the majority of her life.  She was a member of the graduating class of 1959 at St. Mary's High School in Lorain.   

She was a homemaker. 

Dorothy is  survived by a daughter, Sherri Bennett of Lorain and a brother Paul J. Tiech, of Bradenton, Florida. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Louis C. Bennett, 
brothers, Joseph Tiech Jr and Richard A. Tiech.

Friends may call on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 am in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Graveside services will follow visitation in Calvary Cemetery Lorain.
