Eric V. Banes

Eric V. Banes, 36, of Lorain passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a long battle with cancer. 

Mr. Banes was born in Oberlin on June 16, 1984, the son of Christine L. (Kaczur) Banes, of Lorain and the late James W. Banes. He was 2002 graduate of Southview High School.

He was a supervisor in the foundery at Aviva Metals in Lorain. He was an avid motorcycle and ATV enthusiast and he loved spending time with family. 

In addition to his mother, Eric is  survived by two daughters, Aliana Banes, Amiya Banes, son, Rylan J Banes, sister Stephanie L. Banes of Lorain, brother Matthew S. (Savana) Banes of Lorain, significant other Samantha Gatter and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 4 pm until a Celebration of Life at 8 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio  44052.

Burial will be private.
