Estelle (Flocos) Tender

Estelle Tender, 93, of Columbus, formerly of Lorain passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Kobacker House in Columbus following a brief illness. Mrs. Tender was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 16, 1928, daughter of the late Peter N. and Martha (nee Chenggis) Flocos. She was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lorain and was a retired secretary for Ridge Tool in Elyria. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Estelle is survived by her children Peter (Vance) Tender; Dr. Christine Harrington; Mark Tender; Dr. Paul Tender; grandchildren Marie, Katherine, John, Nikolas, and Sophia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John P. Tender, brother Nicholas Flocos, sister Barbara Vitsas and son-in-law Dr. Matthew Harrington. Friends may call on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd. Lorain. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. and burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
