Helen Faye Resor

Helen Faye Resor (nee King), 91, of Lorain left her earthly home and went to her eternal one on Tuesday December 10, 2024. She was born on August 13, 1933 in Highland Bend, Ohio to Burbage and Olive King (Boggs). She is survived by the love of her life, William "Bill" Resor Sr., her children JoAnn Gresh, Timothy (Patricia) Resor, Sharon Resor, and Joyce (Rick) Sergent and her brother Terry (Sherry) King. She was "Mommaw" to 20 grandkids and 25 great grandkids and counting

Helen was a member of North Lake Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and church friends, playing scrabble, frequenting local restaurants, camping and taking drives with her husband to look for deer.

She was greeted at heavens gates by her sons, David (Karin) Resor Sr., Chuckie Resor, Billy (Debbie) Resor Jr., her parents, 6 Siblings, and 2 grandkids.

Visitation will be at North Lake Missionary Baptist Church located at 323 N. Lake St. in South Amherst on Friday December 13th from 2 to 4 p.m. and then at 6-8 p.m.

Additional visitation will be held Saturday December 14th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the North Lake Missionary Baptist Church 323 N. Lake St. in South Amherst. Funeral services will start at 12 p.m. with burial immediately following at Ridge Hill Memorial Park located at 44805 North Ridge Road in Amherst.
