James Maurice Hiser passed away at his home with his family on March 02, 2025.
James was born in Tiffin, OH on December 25, 1935, the son of the late Clara A. Hiser-Ziegler (nee Schone) and Maurice D Hiser.
He graduated Graduated from Freed-Hardeman University becoming a Minister.
He was a member and Elder of Non-Denominational Church of Christ of Lorain.
He retired as a Torque Insp. at Ford Brookpark after working there over 30 years. He taught adult Bible study, was on the board of directors for 8 years and ran the Christian Youth Camps for 25 years. James was a Preacher at Sharon PA and Crossroads Church of Christ and an Elder at the Non-Denominational Church of Christ.
He loved woodcarving and was an avid art painter. He also enjoyed fishing, reading and traveling.
James is survived by his wife of 68 years Dolly (Minnie) A Hisor (nee Reed).

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers: William Hiser, Joseph Hiser, Herbert Hiser and a Sister: Clarabelle Dunn.
Public Visitation will be held 10 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 5th at Toledo Road Church of Christ 5075 Toledo Ave. Lorain, OH 44055
Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM on Wednesday, March 5th at Toledo Road Church of Christ 5075 Toledo Ave. Lorain, OH 44055 with Rev. Bud Collier officiating.
Burial will be the same day at 1 pm in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery 44805 North Ridge Rd, Amherst.
