Janet Loterbaugh Obituary

Janet M. Loterbaugh, (nee Kohart), 88 of Lorain passed peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024 in Kingston of Vermilion following a long illness. 

Mrs. Loterbaugh was born in Lorain on December 6, 1935, the daughter of the late late Francis Adelbert and Delilah L. (nee Smith) Kohart. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the class of 1954.

Mrs. Loterbaugh was a member of and assistant treasurer for the former Faith United Methodist Church.

She worked as a secretary at Milks Mower Sales Amherst, since it's opening in 1976 and then was a manager at Herron's Christmas Store until she retired in 2004. 

She enjoyed traveling, was an avid Indians fan, having made several trips to their training camps with her sister and Christmas time.

Janet is  survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald C. Loterbaugh and just two hours following the death of her beloved sister Cheryl D. Milks. 

Joint visitation with her sister Cheryl will be on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. in the Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Joint funeral services will be held for Cheryl and Janet on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. Tony Mannon, officiating. 

Burial with follow, immediately after Cheryl's interment, in the Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
