Jason Scott Kurz

Jason Scott Kurz, 36, of Avon Lake ended his battle with a long-term illness on July 25th, 2020. 

Jason was born to Mary Kay Kurz and Russel Kurz on September 27th, 1983. 

Jason enjoyed spending time with his children, his loved ones and all of his pets over the years. Jason fought hard and loved harder. No matter what he was going through personally, his primary concern was always for those he loved - and he loved fiercely and unconditionally. 

Jason is survived by his two children, Tristan and Madison Kurz; fiancee Brittany Miller; his grandparents, Lee and Judy Kurz; his father Russell Kurz, mother Mary Kurz and step-mother Kim Friedl, his siblings Micheal Kurz, Sadie Neff, Shane Gambrel, Corbin Gambrel and Alec Kurz; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family, including his former wife, Ashley Kurz, the mother of his children.

He is preceded in death by his step-mother Ellen Kurz.

The family will mourn privately in lieu of services and hold a celebration of life at a later date.
