Jeffrey F. Campbell, 54, of Elyria passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the University Hospital-Elyria Campus following a long illness.
Mr. Campbell was born in Lorain, on September 30, 1967, the son of the late Walter A. Campbell and Helen D. (nee Sharp) Campbell, who survives, of Elyria.
He was a graduate of Elyria High School in the class of 1984, and then earned a BA in education from Temple University in 1991.
Mr. Campbell was a substitute teacher at Midview Schools, but had always had a passion for languages, particularly in Spanish and Portuguese, which he studied in his spare time. He also enjoyed music and singing, and could be found at home listening and singing along to music daily.
In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by a brother, Walter Bryan Campbell, his sister-in-law Debra (nee King) Campbell of Elyria, four nieces, Katherine Lightner, Elizabeth Campbell, Amy Campbell and Sarah Campbell of Elyria, and one nephew, Walter Campbell II of Elyria, along with a great niece and nephew.
Services were private.
The family was assisted with arrangements by the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
