Jessica M. (Antus) Duprey

     Jessica M. (Antus) Duprey, 39 of Orrville, formerly of Lorain passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home unexpectedly.

     Ms. Duprey was born in Lorain on December 16, 1983, the daughter of Katherine (Krone) Antus, of Orrville, who survives, and the late Lawrence Antus.

     She was a gregarious, conscientious person with a loving personality, with a beautiful heart who loved giving personalized gifts to others. She enjoyed her work as night manager at the McDonald’s in Orrville where she nurtured caring relationships with many of her customers. She had also worked at the Robin Industries and East of Chicago Pizza and, at one time, the Bob Evan’s Restaurant in Streetsboro.

     Ms. Duprey earned her high school diploma, completed childcare development courses, and was enrolled and attending classes to earn a degree in healthcare management through the Colorado Technical University. She was an active member of the YMCA, loved cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and was an infamous Frappe maker.

     Jessica is survived by a daughter, Theresa Duprey of Lorain; a son Xavier Duprey of Charleroi, PA, her mother; a sister Angela (William) Zabriskie of Lorain; cousin Michael (Heather) McBride Jr of Charleroi, PA, her Godmother Debbie Antus Carlson of Conneaut,Ohio, an uncle Richard Antus of Lorain, an aunt Bernie (Don) Deidrick also of Lorain; cousin Beth (Michael) Geist of Kent; uncle Chuck Fiege of Vermilion; uncle Dr. Gary (Toni) Krone of North Ridgeville; uncle Walter (Shirley) Krone of Detriot, MI; personal friend and second mother,  Heather Lathers; along with many nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Krystle Antus; her paternal grandparents Richard and Eleanor ‘June’ Antus; her maternal grandparents, Walter and Louise Krone; and an aunt Barbara Antus Burger.

     Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm with Debbie Antus Carlson officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made on the funeral home’s website to assist with funeral expenses.
