Jon Daniel-Edward Logsdon

Jon Logsdon., 80 years of age, and a resident of Lorain since 1950, went home to be present with the Lord on Saturday July 20, 2024 at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 7th 1944, in Parkersburg, WV. the son of Norman and Ruth (nee Gant) Logsdon. 

He graduated from Lorain High School (Class of 1962), and attended Lorain
Community College. He was the owner of Broadway Lanes in Lorain and Stoney 's Rainbow Lanes in Elyria for many years prior to his retirement in 2001.

A man known for his love for family and friends with a great sense of humor. Jon was passionate about family, friends, politics, bowling, his pet Yorkies, and enjoying life. He was never one to just sit at home. He was out and about each day, rain or shine. He loved his cars, and loved to drive them.

Jon leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Bill Logsdon of Sioux Falls, SD, nieces and nephews Tim and Sue Logsdon of Lorain, Audrey Ballinger of Hudson, FL David and Sandy Logsdon, of Grove City, OH, Daniel and Marlee Logsdon of Amherst, Peter, Emily, Andrew Logsdon of Alexandria, VA, 12 grand nieces and nephews and 23 great grand nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved family, parents Norman and Ruth (nee Gant) Logsdon, brothers James Logsdon of Lorain and Justin Logsdon of Alexandria, VA, Sister Janet Marie of Parkersburg, W.VA., sister in-law June Logsdon of
Lorain, and niece Connie Luman of Lorain.

A grave side service and burial will be held at a later date in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township with Pastor Dempsey Miller officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lorain Baptist Church, 3640 Palm Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44055.
