Judith Hilton Obituary

Judith Ann Hilton 69 of Oberlin was reunited with our lost loved ones in the house her loving husband built for not just them but their crazy, loving and huge family that helped create a home.

Judith was born in Cleveland on July 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Dorothy Virginia Blackburn and Alex Salobecke.

She was affectionately known as Mom/Wife/Nana. Judy’s house was always the no judgement zone where everyone is welcome type of home. She welcomed everyone with open arms. Judy’s hobbies included anything that was family oriented. She enjoyed stealing everyone’s money at family game night, gossiping at the kitchen table, and really enjoyed her spur of the moment all night casino trips. Most of all she lived her life to be the best Nana to her grandchildren. She passed down her love of yard sales to her granddaughters, turning it into a cherished summer weekend tradition they shared together

Last but not least, Judy was married to the love of her life, Raymond Hilton, for over 50 years. The kind of love they shared was something out of a fairytale—timeless, deep, and unwavering. She will forever hold the missing puzzle piece that belongs in his heart.

Judy is survived by two Daughters: Carrie Hilton of Oberlin, Jody Hilton of Oberlin. two Sons: Glen (Tia) Hilton of South Amherst and Chris (Alisha) Hilton of South Amherst, two Sisters: Joanne (Jimmy) Rolen of Grafton and Sandy Salobecke, of Cleveland.

She is also survived by Grandchildren: Beau (Andrea), Cody (Amber), Christopher, Jacob, Chucky, Hailey, Chloe, Olivia, Zoe, Brody, Jasmine and Staria. Great Grandchildren: Gunner, Case, Jolie, Remi, JR and Jayden.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers: Richard Salobecke, Jimmy Salobecke and David Salobecke.

The Hilton family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all expressions of kindness and concern throughout the years.
