June Marie (Blosser) Logsdon

LORAIN – June Marie Logsdon., 93 years of age, and a resident of Lorain since 1950, went home to be present with the Lord, Saturday December 24, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born September 19, 1929 in Spencer, WV. She was known for her devotion to God and family. She was a loving wife, mom, and great friend who always offered a shoulder to lean on with a tender heart and quiet sense of humor. She had a passion for her husband (Jim), children, grandchildren, and especially enjoyed serving in many roles such as Sunday school teacher, choir member, and others over the years at Lorain Baptist Church. June helped to manage Stoney’s bowling lanes in Elyria, OH and was a very accomplished bowler.

June leaves to cherish her memory; her son-in-law Ronald Luman of Berlin Heights, her daughter Audrey and husband Norman (deceased) Ballinger of Hudson, FL, her sons and their wives, Tim and Sue Logsdon, of Amherst, David and Sandy Logsdon, of Grove City, and Daniel and Marlee Logsdon of Amherst, OH; her 12 grandchildren, Becky Barnes, Aimee Salva, Jennifer Cooper, Ron Luman Jr., Josh Riley, David J. Logsdon, Amanda Lobsiger, Nick Salva, Matthew Orozco, Norman Logsdon, Jacob Logsdon, and Rachael Cotton, 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; her sisters Sandralee Blosser (Craig Lahar) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Alcie Smith (deceased), and brother Denver Blosser of Aiken, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Jim Logsdon, parents Guy and (Ruth Meyers) Blosser, daughters, Connie Ruth Luman, Amy Louise Logsdon, and son James Ernest Logsdon.

Friends may join a Celebration of Life event on Tuesday, Dec 27, 2022 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Lorain Baptist Church, 3640 Palm Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44055.  

Funeral and burial services will be private.
