Kevin Ray Kintz, 51, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2023 at his home. He was born July 14, 1971 in Lorain to James and Billie (Hunt) Kintz.
Kevin was employed at Vocational Guidance Services in Elyria for many years. In his spare time Kevin enjoyed all forms of comedy, watching movies and television, playing video games, dining out and listening to music.
Kevin was one of the most gentle, kind men to ever walk the Earth. We won’t see him tomorrow. We won’t get the chance to embrace him for a hug. We won’t get to tell him a lot of the things we had left to say, but we will always have his love in our hearts. We will forever carry with us the warm feeling we’d get when his room filling laughter was funnier than the corny joke he told. We will always remember the sincerity in his voice when he said “I love you”.
Kevin is survived by his sisters, Carolyn Cool of Elyria, and Renee Kintz of Mansfield, brother Edward Wages of Grafton, nephews Jordan Hunt, Joey McMillan and Joey McMillan, nieces Amanda Cool, Cassie Cool, Amber McMillan and Alisaya Kintz and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by brothers James Kintz Jr and Allen Wages, and sister Dawn McMillan. We can rest assured knowing Kevin is safe and reunited with the ones he loved.
A private family memorial will be held later this month.
