Kimberly Dawn Slone, 63, of Lorain passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home following a brief illness.
Ms. Slone was born in Lorain on July 5, 1958, the daughter of the late Elbert and Gloria Hope (nee Chapman) Slone. She was a former member of Christian Life Church.
She had attended Lorain High School and graduated from Lorain County Joint Vocational School. Currently she was a homemaker. She had worked as an attendant with the Clark Gas Station. She throughly enjoyed playing bingo, and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a gifted painter.
Kim is survived by her companion of more that 33 years, David Wittcop, daughter Ashley (Joseph) Brunson of Madisonville, KY, sons Kevin M. Slone, Matthew Wittcop both of Lorain, grandchildren: Nevaeh, Raven, Isla, sister Ruth (Gary) Welborn of Lorain, brothers Steven Slone, and Randall Slone both of Lorain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Chad Slone in 2020 and a brother Larry Slone in 2006.
Friends may call on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 5:00 pm until a prayer service at 7:00 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Burial will be private in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst, OH.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
