Linda Elaine Beam, 74, passed away on April 11, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. She graduated in 1968 from Clearview High School and continued her education at the Oberlin School of Commerce earning a degree in Accounting.
She worked at the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority for 37 years. PERI (Public Employee Retirement Incorporated) life member since 1983. She was a long time volunteer at the Lorain County Metroparks specifically the French Creek Reservation. She was a lover of animals having a number of pet cats and dogs over the years. He favorite animal was cats. Some of her hobbies included collecting cat items, amateur bird watcher, sudoku, reading, crocheting, listening to the police scanner and sitting on her porch swing.
Preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Esther Beam, brother Thomas Jr., grandparents, aunts, and uncle.
Survived by brother Tim (Beverly), sister Donna, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a private funeral with interment at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
