Obituary
Margaret “Marge” J. Marshall, of Lorain, died Wednesday January 18, 2023, in Amherst Manor Retirement Community, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 23, 1931, in Lorain, and was a lifelong resident. She was a school secretary in Lorain until the birth of her oldest son, and enjoyed being a homemaker afterward.
Marge was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She enjoyed traveling with friends and gambling.
Survivors include sons Wayne (Barb), James (Melanie), and Robert Marshall; daughter Melanie (Chris) Barnicle; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Marshall in 1996.
Friends may call Monday January 23rd from 4-8 in Boyer & Cool Funeral Home, 1124 W. 5th St., Lorain.
Mass of Christian burial to be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 309 W 7th St, Lorain, on January 24th at 11 am, with Father Frank Kosem and Deacon Lou Maldonado, co-celebrating.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 2726 Caroline Ave., Lorain, 44055.
