Margaret E. (Kilzer) Medina

 Margaret Ethel Medina, 72, (nee Kilzer) of Lorain passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Mercy New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following a long illness.
     She was born on January 3, 1946 in Elyria to the late August and Dorothy (nee Krugman) Kilzer. She spent the majority of her life in the Elyria area then moved to Lorain.
     Ms. Medina was a registered nurse at the former Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, nurse at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain and she serverd as school nurse at the Lorain City Schools. 

     She enjoyed nature and rescuing animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and she love to attend the Lorain County Fair. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, football and baseball.
     Ms. Medina is survived by  her daughter Jennifer (Mike) Medina, sons Anthony (Nina) Medina, Jesse (Audra) Medina, Frank (Leslie) Medina, grandchildren,  Tamar, Nalani, Brandon, Alec, Logan, Noah, Dillon, Frank Jr., Sophya, great grandchildren: Maddox and Elias,. sister Nancy Barnes and brothers Lewis Kilzer and Dwain Kilzer.
     Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
