Marilyn Sue Kayle, 91, (nee Neiding) of Lorain passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Kayle was born in Lorain on June 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Erwin C. and Mildred I. (nee Crone) Neiding. She was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1948, She was a former longtime member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer but most recently was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Lorain. She served on the Kitchen Committee at First Lutheran.
She was a homemaker and secretary for her husband's business, Kayle Appraisal Services in Lorain. She was a former member of Wimodausis, Colony Club, JayCee's, Cosmpolitan Dance Club and a Couples Bowling League.
Sue is survived by her husband Robert, to whom she was married December 30, 1950, sons Donald R. (Debora) Kayle of Kissimmee, FL, David E. (Mary Beth) Kayle of Kerrville, TX, Douglas S. Kayle, of Lorain, grandchildren, Zachary Kayle, Andrew Kayle, Kimberly Schimmoeller, Michael Kayle, Lindsey Hilty, step grandchildren: Lisa Jordan, Rachel Boyschau, great grandchildren, Logan Kayle, Brody Kayle, Lincoln Kayle, Mollie Kayle, Benjamin Hilty, Abby Hilty, step great grandchildren: Lucas Jordan, Layla Jordan, and a sister Nancy N Stark of Vermilion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Eldon Neiding in 1950.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10:00 am until a celebration of her life” starting at 11:00 am in the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 647 Reid Ave. Lorain with Rev. Alex Barton, Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and Rev. Rosalina Rivera, pastor of the First Lutheran Church, officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice in her memory.
Burial will be at a later date.
