Martin Taylor, age 61, of Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. Born in Lorain on February 10, 1964, he was the beloved son of the late Edith C. (Martin) and John O. Taylor.
Martin worked as a dedicated technician at Bay Furnace for many years, earning the respect of colleagues and customers alike. He had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed camping, gardening, and kayaking—activities that brought him peace and joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (née Parker) Taylor; his two sons, Carl Evans, husband of Nichole Evans, and Billy Evans, husband of Brittany Evans, both of Lorain; as well as numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded in death by his two brothers. He is remembered fondly by extended family and friends for his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
