Mary Alice (Ortega) Ortega

     Mary A. Ortega, 86, (nee Ortega) of Lorain passed away on Saturday evening, December 12, 2020 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain following a long illness.
     Mrs. Ortega was born in New York, NY on August 23, 1934, the daughter of the late Juan and Soledad M. (nee Galindo). She and her husband moved to Lorain in 1993.
     She was a supervisory assistant at Vikonics, Inc. in Secaucus, NJ for 14 years before retiring on May 8, 1992.
     Mary is  survived by her husband, Sixto Ortega, a sister, Dr. Irma A. Hanson of Lorain, nieces Mary (Gary) Huff of Lorain, Melissa (Kerrin) Goggin of Milford, PA, Maritza (William) Kurau of Las Vegas, NV and Arianna (Aaron Barwick) Antauer also of Las Vegas.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lillian K. Venezia. 
     Friends may call on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 beginning at 4:00 pm in the Schwartrz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain followed by a funeral service at 5:00 pm. 
     Burial will be at a later date.
