Michael Thomas Highsmith

Michael Thomas Highsmith, 52, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2021. He was born July 23, 1968 in Irving, New York. Michael graduated from Lorain High in 1986.    

 He was an experienced contractor and could help with just about any house project you could imagine. He fought many internal battles but will be remembered for having a good heart. Michael enjoyed spending time with his cousins and his friends throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed sports and fishing.   

 He is survived by his daughters, Kaylee Elizabeth Jirousek of LaGrange, Jocelyn Marie Highsmith of Lorain grandchildren Isabella Marie Highsmith, Charlotte Elizabeth Jirousek, Callahan Michael Jirousek, his Mother Karen Lee Tangari of Lorain and his sister Tammy Lynn Roark-Highsmith of Lorain.

 He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Simon and his sister Angela Tangari Fowler.

 Friends may call on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 6-8 pm in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. A Celebration of his Life will follow.

 The family suggest that memorial contributions be made through the funeral home.
