Olga (Kanillos) Delis

     Olga Delis, 90, (nee Kanillos) passed away on Tuesday morning at her home in Lorain following a brief illness.
     Mrs. Delis was born in Cleveland on August 22, 1928, the  daughter of the late Daniel and Angeline (nee Ventress) Kanillos She was a graduate of East High School in Cleveland,  
     She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Lorain.  
     Mrs. Delis was an interior decorator and co-owner,  operator at the former Delis Furniture Store  in Lorain. As a young woman, prior to her marriage,  she worked as a model for two years.She was a former member of the Lakeland Women's Club. She enjoyed cooking, reading, word search puzzles, and loved to work in her Rose Garden.  
     Mrs. Delis is survived by a daughter, Caroline (David) Simon of Lorain, ..granddaughter Melissa (Steve) Eschman, great grandchildren: Alexander, Kallen, Marley, sisters Evangeline Moshos of Morristown, NJ; Christine (Milton)  Pappas, of New York, NY and her beloved cat CeCe. 
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Peter Delis in 2007 and her daughter Kallie Skusa, in 1999. 
     Friends may call on .Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Schwartz, Spence,  Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. Trisayion services wil be at 7:00 p.m.. 
     Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the  St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd, Lorain with Father Michael C. Gulgas, pastor, officiating. 
     Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park  Amherst Township. 
     The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy-New Life Hospice, c/o Mercy Foundation, 3700 Kolbe Road, Lorain, 44053 or to Storm's Angels Rescue, P.O. Box 259, Lorain 44052.
