Perry William Cole, 80, of Winston-Salem, NC, formerly of Vermilion passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 5, 2022 from a sudden illness.
He was born December 26, 1941 in Warren, Ohio and lived in Vermilion for 40 years before moving to Winston-Salem, NC.
He was a 50 year member of the Ohio Operating Engineers and a member of the Huron Eagles Club.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Ann (nee Parsons) Cole, Children Robert Shawn (Gloria) Cole of Slt Lake City, Utah, and Kimberly Cole of Winston-Salem, NC. Grandsons Bradley (Brittney) Cole of Rocky River and Brandon Cole of Brooklyn, NY. Cousin Ivan (Kenny) Waddell of Winston-Salem, and may nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Bessie Mae (Cole) Sprankle. Maternal grandparents Edwin and Blanche (Artman) Cole.
There will be a private family service with a celebration of life to be held later.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the ALS Foundation, 6133 Rockside Road # 301, Independence, Ohio or American Heart Association,137 E. 9th Street, # 600, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.
