Petey Heimann, 72, (nee Linkous) of Lorain passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 in the Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain following a short illness.
Petey was born in Bluefield, VA on February 19, 1948, the daughter of the late Archie and Ethelene Linkous. She was a graduate of Lorain High School in the Class of 1965.
For more than 30 years, Petey and her husband owned and operated the R.A.P. Company, a local confectionary store, in Lorain.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially those still living in the Bluefield area, listening to Elvis Presley and going to casinos. She also enjoyed seeing friends at the former Emerald Valley Bar.
Grieving her passing are her beloved husband of 53 years, Randy Heimann, daughters Melissa K Dovala, Christina L. Heimann, grandchildren Joey Heimann, Justin Milde, Hayley Dovala, sister-in-law, Andrea Linkous, niece Megan Linkous and nephew Jason Linkous.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Linkous.
Friends may call on Friday, October 16, 2020 beginning at 5:00 p.m. and concluding with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
